BASIL, Unmanned Surface Vehicle


Initially designed for virtual mooring of GIB buoys, ALSEAMAR’s flexible USV design can carry various payloads. It is a small Rubber Inflatable Boat (RIB) remotely controlled through a robust radio link. Several USV can be controlled simultaneously. The operator has a user-friendly view of the track displayed on an electronic chart, and specific screens for vehicle remote control. The BASIL has several navigation modes: manual control, route following, station keeping etc.
